Cilantro-Jalapeño Syrup

Cilantro-Jalapeño Syrup

A delicious syrup for any herbaceous cocktail

Total Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1.5 fl. oz. gin
  • 1 lime
  • 1 half jalapeño
  • 40g cilantro (stems removed, just leaves)

Instructions

  1. Cut the cilantro leaves from the stem. (Some stem is okay but mostly you want the leaves.) Add the cilantro to the blender.
  2. Slice half a jalapeño into thin slices. Add to blender.
  3. Add the sugar.
  4. Juice the lime into the blender.
  5. Add the gin.
  6. Blend until smooth.
  7. Wait a minute! Blend some more. (Some chunks might have been hiding.)
  8. Let sit for a minute or so.
  9. Strain into a jar.
  10. Done!
