Whiskey Sour

A classic sour

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1.5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 4 oz Whiskey

Instructions

  1. Squeeze all the juice from the lemon into a cocktail shaker
  2. Crack the egg and carefully separate the yolk from the egg white
  3. Add the egg white to the cocktail, discard the yolk and shell
  4. Add the simple syrup and whiskey to the shaker
  5. Close the shaker and perform a shake with no ice ( Dry Shake ) for 20 seconds, this froths up the egg white
  6. Open the shaker and add ice
  7. Shake again for 20 seconds
  8. Double Strain into two small glasses
  9. Enjoy
